Eleanor E. Donihoo

Eleanor E. Donihoo (nee Linden), 70, a life long resident of North Ridgeville, passed away peacefully with her family by her side following a brief illness, on May 17, 2022 at St. Johns Medical Center in Westlake. She was born on August 24, 1951, in North Ridgeville. Eleanor graduated from North Ridgeville High School and worked as a cleaning lady for the High School for 29 years before retiring. Eleanor enjoyed playing slot machines, and spending time with her family. She is survived by: her loving husband of 21 years, Gary Donihoo; five children, Linda Moynihan, Jerry Meehan (Jennifer), Carrie Steiner, Jennifer Donihoo, and Heather Donihoo (Amanda); nine grandchildren, Michael, Austin, Caitlyn, Megan, Jasmine, Phoenix, Raphael, Christopher, and EJ; and her two brothers, Alfred and Jack Linden. Eleanor was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Eleanor Linden; her brother, Bobby Linden; her twin sister, Norma Yafanoro; and her nephew, Tom Stambaugh. The family welcomes friends to join them at the Liston Funeral Home, 36403 Center Ridge Rd., (at Stoney Ridge Rd.), North Ridgeville, on Saturday, May 21, 2022, from 5pm to 7pm, with the service beginning at 7pm. Rev. Danny Wright will officiate.
