Emma Jane Bender

Emma Jane Bender (nee Palmer), 88, a lifetime resident of North Ridgeville, passed away peacefully at Ames Family Hospice in Westlake, on Saturday May 1, 2021. She was born August 26, 1932 in Westlake and graduated from North Ridgeville High School in 1950. Jane was a people person, who loved talking on the phone, often ending one conversation and then calling another friend right afterwards. She also enjoyed getting her hair and nails done. Emma Jane Bender is survived by: her 5 children; and by many many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: her husband of 57 years, William Bender, and by her grandson, Tyler Bender. A private family gathering will be held at Fields United Methodist Church in North Ridgeville. Rev. Tom Joyce will officiate. Burial will be held at Fields Cemetery in North Ridgeville. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Fields United Methodist Church.
