Ewald Buchdrucker

Ewald Buchdrucker, 79, a longtime resident of Columbia Station, passed away peacefully Wednesday, November 2, 2023, at Southwest General Hospital in Middleburg Heights. He was born May 26, 1944 in Buschen, Germany. Ewald was an avid walleye fisherman, and loved watching his tropical fish. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Barbara; three children, Beverly (Michael), Cynthia (Jake), and Jeff (Lorrie); three grandchildren, Dana, Tyson, and Riley; and his sister Ingrid (Keith). Ewald was preceded in death by his parents, Emil and Frieda; and his brother, Gary. The family welcomes friends to join them Thursday, November 9, 2023, from 4pm to 7pm, at the Liston Funeral Home, 36403 Center Ridge Road (at Stoney Ridge Rd.), North Ridgeville. The memorial service will be private. Ewald will be laid to rest at Resthaven Memory Gardens in Avon. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
