Rev. Georgia Frazier (nee Smith), 84, of Elyria, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday November 19, 2021 at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland following a lengthy battle with cancer.  She was born October 13, 1937 in Wayne County, West Virginia and had resided in Elyria for 53 years.  Rev. Frazier was called to the ministry at a young age and dedicated her life to serving the Lord and helping others.  She was the founding Pastor of North Eaton Church of God in 1989 and she was serving as pastor there when the Church constructed and moved into their own building.  She also served as Pastor of the Avon Church of God and as Pastor of Living Waters Ministries in both North Ridgeville and Elyria.  She also held many other church services in local schools, funeral homes, store fronts and nursing homes.  Her autobiography, Life of Miracles Chosen Vessel, was published by WestBow Press in 2015 and she was writing another book at the time of her death.  Rev. Frazier enjoyed traveling and she was thankful for her beloved family.  Rev. Georgia Frazier is survived by: four daughters, Sharon R. Frazier of Elyria, Teresa Ramsey (John) of Lerona, West Virginia, Brenda L. Plasencia (Gil) of Elyria and Ruth Ann Burks (Terry) of Elyria; seven grandchildren, Bill Frazier, John Ramsey (Angie), Ralph Ramsey (Megan), Miland B. Black III, Cristin Burks, Michael Lynwood Black and Terry P. Burks; five great-grandchildren, Devin Frazier, Amya Burks, Joshua Ramsey, Kylee Burks and Daniel Ramsey; two sisters, Wanda Robinson of Cleveland and Katherine Cook (Johnny) of Painesville; three brothers, Boyd Smith of Huntington, West Virginia, Roscoe Smith (Lois) of Kiahsville, West Virginia and Ivan Smith Jr. (Diana) of North Carolina; and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by: her husband of 57 years, Ralph Lynwood Frazier in 2013; her parents, Ivan Smith and Elsie (nee Nelson) Smith; five sisters, Thelma Breeding, Nell Murphy, Ruthie Smith, Texann Finley and Dovie Maynard; and one brother, Virgil Smith.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday November 24, 2021 from 11am to 1pm at the Liston Funeral Home, 36403 Center Ridge Rd., (at Stoney Ridge Rd.), North Ridgeville.  The funeral service will follow at 1pm.  Georgia’s great-nephew, Rev. Robert Daniel Kincaid, will officiate the service.  Burial will be at Brookdale Cemetery in Elyria.
