Glen R. "Bud" Woodard passed peacefully on May 27, 2023, after a long battle with dementia. Bud was born to Glen Russell (Russ) Woodard and Ellen Mabel (Mabel) Klaameyer in Fairview Park, Ohio on March 12, 1934. Bud was always a kid at heart and loved sports. He was a creative woodworker; a nature-loving soul who spent many hours playing guitar and banjo; singing in his church choir; traveling, hunting and fishing; playing golf and softball; riding his motorcycle; and fixing up old sports cars. He was an excavator who owned his own company for many years. Bud is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Carol; his four sisters, Dorothy Winona "Dot", Eunice Louise "Eunie", Ruth Adele, Janet Lucille "Jan"; his six children, Karen (Jeff), Wendy (Will), Lauren (Randy), Glen Russell III "G.R." (Sandra), Lisa Sulda (Jon) and Susan Sulda-Auther (Dave); his five grandchildren, two great grandchildren, his loving dog, Kyla and his Tractor. He was preceded in death by his parents; and three siblings, Esther "Snick", Sylvia Jean "Sue", James Dean "Jim".
A memorial for Bud will be held September 2, 2023, at his home in North Ridgeville, where a tree will be planted in his memory.
