Glenn D. Preston

Glenn D. Preston, 72, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Saturday November 19, 2022 at Regency West Hospital in Middleburg Heights after losing his long fought battle with Multiple Myeloma.  He was born April 14, 1950 in Berea and was a 1969 graduate of Mid-Park High School.  He had been a resident of North Ridgeville for many years.  Glenn was a machinist and retired from Savanna Tool and Manufacturing in North Ridgeville in 2013.  He was also a watchmaker and previously worked at his family business, Preston Jewelers in Lakewood.  Glenn was a Mason and a member of the Masonic Lodge, and a former member of the Lakewood Jaycee’s.  He loved taking care of his home and gardening. In 2018 his home won the C. A. R. E. award from the North Ridgeville Chamber of Commerce for his beautiful yard.  Glenn was also a classic car enthusiast and he was very proud of his 1966 Plymouth Belvedere.  Glenn D. Preston is survived by: his wife of 21 years, Kathleen (nee Belter); his step-son, Jesse Laux (Carli) of Medina; two step-grandchildren, Landon and Rory, and his brother, Gary Preston (Carol) of North Royalton.  He was preceded in death by; his parents, Clyde E. and Alice (nee Neubauer) Preston; and his sister, Susan Preston.  A private family graveside service will be held at Strongsville Cemetery in Strongsville.
