Homer S. Potts, 82, a longtime resident of Morristown, Tennessee, passed away at the Cleveland Clinic Hospital in Avon, Ohio on January 8, 2022. He was born on March 29, 1939, in London, Ohio. Homer was a Vietnam Veteran for the United States Army, serving from 1958 to 1960. He enjoyed traveling around the country, doing leatherwork, making jewelry, and going to renaissance fairs. Homer loved setting up shop to sell his leather and jewelry at renaissance fairs because he loved meeting new people and seeing old friends. He is survived by three children, Steve Potts (Sally), Shawn Harley Potts, and Lori Potts; seven grandchildren, Kisha, Kevin, Shawn, Victoria, Darritt, Haylee, and Dalton; two great grandchildren, Aubrey, and Will; his sister, Pam Hall; and many nieces and nephews. Homer was preceded in death by his two sisters, Rebecca, and Elsie. The family welcomes friends to join them at the Liston Funeral Home, 36403 Center Ridge Rd., (at Stoney Ridge Rd.), North Ridgeville on Saturday, February 12, 2022, from 2pm to 4pm with a memorial service starting at 4pm. Pastor Bonnie Sliva will officiate.
