James I. "Jim" Renner

James I. “Jim” Renner, 78, passed away at the Burton Health Care Center in Burton on June 24, 2026.  He was born June 6, 1948 in Clinton, Iowa.  Jim moved to the Cleveland area 30 years ago to live with his late sister, Carolyn. He was a member of Nottingham Baptist Church in Willoughby Hills.  Jim loved missions and attending missions conferences, and he enjoyed a good church dinner.  He is survived by several special cousins and his loving church family.  Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Irvin and Margaret (nee Gaar) Renner, and his sister, Carolyn Renner.  Visitation will be on Thursday July 9, 2026 from 6 until the time of a service at 7pm at Nottingham Baptist Church, 2921 Bishop Road, Willoughby Hills.  Pastor Jon Dursos will lead the service.  Jim will be laid to rest with the rest of his immediate family at Walnut Cemetery in Walnut, Illinois.
