Jane (Drummond) Sigsworth

Jane Sigsworth (nee Drummond), 90, of North Ridgeville, passed away at her residence on Saturday August 1, 2020, surrounded by her loving family.  She was born June 4, 1930 in Belmont, Massachusetts.  Jane had resided in North Ridgeville for 35 years and previously resided in the Los Angeles, California area.  She was employed by A T & T for many years where she started out as a telephone operator and finished in the customer service department.  She retired in 1990.  Jane was a member of Fields United Methodist Church in North Ridgeville, the North Ridgeville Historical Society and Women of the Moose.  She was also involved in the Pioneer Club which is a group of women retiree’s from the phone company.  She enjoyed crafts, ceramics, knitting and crocheting, gardening, traveling and camping.  Jane Sigsworth is survived by: Her husband, Russell L. Sigsworth; two daughters, Janice Lane (Michael) of Negaunee, MI and Lisa Hunter (Kevin) of Manhattan Beach, CA; one step-daughter, Nancy Ketterer (Billy Mahl) of Elyria; two step-sons, Bill (Carla) and David Sigsworth, both of North Ridgeville; two granddaughters, Blakeley and Keaton Hunter; a grandson, Jeffrey Gardner (Traci); one great-granddaughter, Kylie Gardner; and by several step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by: Her son, Paul Theodore Truehart in 2004; a step-daughter, Judy Guilkey in 2015; and by her parents, Peter and Ruth (nee Johnston) Drummond. A private family service will be held with Rev. Thomas Joyce from Fields United Methodist Church officiating.  Burial will be at Belmont Memorial Park in Fresno, CA.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the North Ridgeville Historical Society, 6914 Case Road, North Ridgeville, OH 44039.  Liston Funeral Home, North Ridgeville, is serving the family.
