Janet L Nolan

Janet L. Nolan (nee Garland), 64, a long-time resident of Columbia Station, passed away at her home on Tuesday, May 12, 2020. Janet was born on October 15, 1955, in Mountain City, Tennessee.  She graduated from Johnson County High School in 1973. Janet loved her family and spent time with them as much as she could, especially her grandkids. Janet was also the caregiver for her mother-in-law and her friend, Marge. She also enjoyed: watching cooking shows, church programs, sewing, and collecting Angel decorations. She is survived by: two children, James Nolan (Aida), and April Pollak (Tom); five grandchildren, Jacqueline Sauder (Ryan), Brittany Buhrman (Josh), Eric Nolan, Jimmy Nolan, and Aiden Nolan; four great grandchildren, Noah Sauder, Zoey Sauder, Elijah Buhrman, and Abigail Burhman; three siblings, Kenneth Garland, Scotty Garland (Janine), and Judy Cretsinger (Kevin); and by her special niece, Cindy Jones. Janet was preceded in death by: her Husband of 42 years, James Nolan 2018; and by her parents, R.D. and Carrie Garland. The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 17, 2020 (with social distancing) at the Liston Funeral Home, 36403 Center Ridge Rd., (at Stoney Ridge Rd.), North Ridgeville from 10am to 11am, with the service starting at 11am. Pastor David Swartz will officiate. In Lieu of flowers, it was Janet’s request that memorial contributions be made to her family.
