Jeanne M. Ross, 92, a long time resident of North Ridgeville, formerly of Scranton, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family Tuesday, May 23, 2023. She was born in Kane, Pennsylvania, and graduated from Central High School, where she was a cheerleader. Jeanne worked for Gutheinz for many years before moving to Ohio with her husband, Paul and settling down as a stay-at-home mom. She enjoyed listening to music, singing, dancing, baking, spending time with her children, going to karaoke nights with her husband, and was an avid Yankees fan. Jeanne has been a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in North Ridgeville since 1969. She is survived by her four daughters, Ann Marie (Frank), Chrissy (Earl), Maxine, and Niccole (Curtis); seven grandchildren, Lisa (Shawn), Daniel (Heather), Earl (Sammi), Corey, Chad (Megan), Noah, and Aria; 12 great grandchildren; her brother, Paul “Skip” Wetter of Scranton, PA; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Jeanne was preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, Paul A. Ross; her daughter Donna Agnes Ross; and her parents, Paul and Katherine Wetter. A Memorial Mass will be held Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at St. Peters Catholic Church in North Ridgeville. Jeanne will be laid to rest at St. Peter Cemetery following the Mass. Father Isidore Munishi will celebrate the Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
