Jeremy M. Michael

Jeremy M. Michael, 20, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at the Genesis Hospital in Zanesville, Ohio. He was born July 14, 2005, in Cleveland. Jeremy graduated from North Ridge High School in 2024 and was currently attending Muskingum University pursuing a career in sports broadcasting and was a member of the MACE Fraternity House. He was deeply involved in sports and loved playing basketball, football, and baseball. When Jeremy wasn’t playing sports, he enjoyed hanging out and playing video games with his friends, and spending time with his family. Jeremy is survived by his parents, Heather and Kevin Gibson; his biological father, Sam; his grandparents, Robert and Charlene Michael; and many aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his sister, Kaylee Gibson-Michael; his paternal grandparents, Oscar and Mary Ann Neal; and his maternal grandparents, Daniel and Carolee Michael. The family welcomes friends to join them on Thursday, December 18, 2025, from 4pm to 7pm at Harvest Ridge Church, 35600 Lorain Rd, North Ridgeville. The funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 19, 2025, at 10am, at St. Peter Catholic Church, 35777 Center Ridge Rd, North Ridgeville. Father Robert Franco will celebrate the Mass. Jeremy will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Park, in North Olmsted. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
