Celebration of Jessica’s life will be Saturday, December 11th, 2:00pm at North Olmsted Evangelical Friends Church, 5665 Great Northern Blvd, North Olmsted, OH 44070.
Since Jessica loved teaching and mentoring youth, in lieu of flowers, consider donating to Broadway Christian Church Summer Reading program promoting literacy in children since 1977.
This was Jessica’s last Facebook post before her 6th open heart surgery in June of this year:
One of my favorite songs of all time is "Even if" by MercyMe, and if you really want to know what's going on with me in terms of my thoughts, process, and where I'm at, I ask that you watch this video in its entirety and listen to the lyrics as they are as close to my resolve as possible. And the story behind the song, though the difficulty is different, the feelings and experience are ones I can resonate with.
To Christ's family: THANK YOU so much for your partnership in everything! Thank you for your encouragement and sharpening. I can only hope that I returned them well. Please, don't give up in your pursuit of Him. He is worth it!! And may we not give up in glorifying Him and testifying of His great amazing goodness!!
For my friends who don't know Christ; again, I implore you -- please consider and/or reconsider finding out who Jesus is. He is worth it!!
"So, [I] do not lose heart. Though [my] outer self is wasting away, [my] inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for [me] an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as [I] look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal."
2 Corinthians 4:16-18
