Joe Jarrell, 87, a long time resident of North Ridgeville, passed away following a lengthy illness at his residence on Sunday, March 24, 2024. He was born December 19, 1936, in Logan, West Virginia and Joe was a graduate of Logan High School. He worked for General Motors as a lineman for 36 years before retiring. Joe was a member of Faith Baptist Temple, and enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening, and old cars. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Blanche Jarrell (nee Tabor); two daughters, Diana Simpson (Jack), and Pammy Bohland (Charles); his son, Kelly Jarrell; four grandchildren, Melissa Skrant (Chris), Trevor Simpson (Faith), Charles Bohland (Hannah), and Rachel Simpson; five great grandchildren, Ava, Brooklyn, Naomi, Sydney, and Quinn. Joe was preceded in death by his daughter, Tina Jarrell; his parents, Columbus and Celia; and his brothers and sisters. A private family gathering will be held. Joe will be laid to rest at Rest Haven Memory Gardens in Avon on Thursday, March 28, 2024, at 2pm, where the family welcomes friends to join. Brother Ray Carpenter will officiate.
