John J Evanish Jr.

John J. Evanish Jr., 68, a resident of North Ridgeville, passed away peacefully at his residence, surrounded by his family, following a short illness on Tuesday January 28, 2020. He was born June 9, 1951 in Cleveland. John married the love of his life, Debbie in 1972 and they enjoyed a wonderful marriage. He loved his grandchildren dearly and took every opportunity to spend time with them. John is survived by: his loving wife of 48 years, Debbie Evanish (nee Mullar); two children, John J. Evanish III and Angela M. Cedeño (nee Evanish) (Rey); five grandchildren, Annastasia, John IV, Julia, Rey III, and Jey; one sister, Hilda Andrassy (Bob); and by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by: his parents, John J. Sr. and Hilda Evanish; and by two sisters, Joan Brubaker, and Rita Cass. The family welcomes friends to join them on Saturday February 1, 2020 from 3pm to 7pm with a time of remembrance beginning at 7pm at the Liston Funeral Home, 36403 Center Ridge Rd., (at Stoney Ridge Rd.), North Ridgeville.
