John Huffman Jr.

John Huffman Jr., 95, a lifelong resident of North Ridgeville, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 12, 2023, at The Avenue at the North Ridge. He was born June 3, 1928, in Farmdale, Ohio. John was a professional carpenter for many years before retiring. He was a lifelong member of St. Peter Catholic church in North Ridgeville. John enjoyed woodworking, fishing, and gardening. He is survived by four children, Bonnie (Jerry), Denny (Rhonda), Mark (Jodi), and Brad (Nan); 16 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; his brother, Bill Loescher; and many nieces and nephews. John was preceded in death by his wife of 73 years, Vera Huffman; his daughter, Pat; his stepfather, Hank; his mother, Eva; and his sister, Lera. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, October 24, 2023, at 11am, at St. Peter Cemetery, North Ridgeville. Pastor Gary Dorsey will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
