John E. Kohler

John E. Kohler, 89, a resident of North Ridgeville, formerly of Lakewood, passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at the Cleveland Clinic Main Campus. He was born January 24, 1936, in Cleveland. John received his BA from Fenn College (now Cleveland State University), and his Juris Doctor degree from Cleveland Marshall Law School. He was a proud member of the Acadia Lodge #651, and Al Koran Shriner. John was a devotee of opera and theater as well as a passionate Cleveland sports fan. He is survived by his children, Kimberly, and James; and his grandson Max Hort. John was preceded in death by his loving wife of 62 years, Diane. Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospital for children through the Al Koran Shriners.
