John A. McConihay

John A. McConihay, 83, passed away unexpectedly at his daughter’s residence in Elyria on Wednesday January 27, 2021.  He was born June 14, 1937 in Charleston, West Virginia.  Mr. McConihay was a resident of Olmsted Falls for many years.  John was a veteran of the US Marines and served from 1954 to 1957.  He worked as a machine operator at the Ford Motor Company Brookpark Plant for 31 years and retired in 1988.  He enjoyed going to casinos and auctions.  John McConihay is survived by: three daughters, Donna M. Rusnak of Elyria, Diane L. Dudash of Kentucky and Jeannette P. Hadjuk (Paul) of Brook Park; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one sister; and one brother.  A private graveside service will be held at Sunset Memorial Park in North Olmsted.  Pastor James Beight will officiate.
