Johnny W. Roberts

Johnny W. Roberts, 77, of Elyria, passed away on Sunday March 6, 2022 at UH Elyria Medical Center in Elyria following a short illness.  He was born June 11, 1944 in Erwin, TN and resided for most of his life in Lorain County.  He was employed at York International in Elyria and retired in 2004.  Mr. Roberts attended Midway Baptist Church in Elyria.  He was an expert gardener and he enjoyed fishing.  Johnny W. Roberts is survived by: his wife of 58 years, Pauline (nee Coleman); two daughters, Doris Post (Dave) of West Union, West Virginia and Betty Kozlowski (Matt) of Lorain; three sons, Junior Roberts of Elyria, David Roberts (Eva) of Buffalo, New York and Andrew Roberts (Angie) of Lodi; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by; a grandson, Andrew Allen Roberts Jr.; a sister; and his mother, Ollie May Roberts.  The family will receive friends on Thursday March 10, 2022 from 6 to 8pm at the Liston Funeral Home, 36403 Center Ridge Rd., (at Stoney Ridge Rd.), North Ridgeville.  The funeral service will be Friday March 11, 2022 at 11am at the funeral home.  Pastor Chuck Keesee will officiate.  Interment will be at Brookdale Cemetery in Elyria.
