Johnny Vazquez Sr.

Johnny Vazquez Sr, 41, a long time resident of Elyria, passed away on Sunday October 17, 2021, at University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center in Elyria. He was born on April 5, 1980 in Cleveland. Johnny was a very good man who enjoyed: cooking, and spending time with his kids and family. He is survived by: his wife of 11 years, Jessica Vazquez (nee Rivera); six children, Jahmisy, Maylis, Jacob, Johnny Jr., Jeremiah, and Julio; his grandson, Tremayne; his parents, David and Olga Sanchez; four siblings, Ozias, David Jr., Juan, and Abel; and by many nieces and nephews. Johnny was preceded in death by: his mother, Luz Vasquez. The family welcomes friends to join them on Saturday October 23, 2021 from 6pm to 7pm with the service begining at 7pm at Lakewood Seventh Day Adventist Church, 1382 Arthur Ave, Lakewood. Pastor Quentin Purvis will officiate.
