Joshua J Shadle

Joshua J. Shadle, 23, of Elyria, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday June 13, 2019 at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland.  He was born in Westlake on May 5, 1996.  Joshua was a 2014 graduate of North Ridgeville High School and was currently a full-time student at Cleveland State University where he was a member of Turning Point USA.  Joshua’s major was Business Marketing (and his goal was to become a “millionaire”).  He was a member of Boy Scout Troop #140 in North Ridgeville and of the Order of the Arrow.  He attained the level of Eagle Scout.  Joshua was a member of St. Peter’s Church in North Ridgeville and of the North Italian Club in Middleburg Heights.  He was very proud of his Italian heritage.  He enjoyed D.C. Comics, Batman, World War II History, video games and drawing.  Joshua was a generous soul who wanted to serve in the US Military but was unable because of a heart disease.  Joshua Shadle is survived by: his parents, Jasmine and Dann Barczyk and Greg Shadle; three sisters, Jillian, Fay and Morgan; one brother, Gabe; his grandmother, Cheryl Barczyk; two aunts, Natalie Ray and Laura DiLoreti; and by an uncle, Jeff Barczyk.  He was preceded in death by: his grandparents, Joe Lucchese, Jeanne Ray, and Tom Barczyk.  The family will receive friends on Thursday June 20, 2019 from 4 to 8pm at the Liston Funeral Home, 36403 Center Ridge Rd., (at Stoney Ridge Rd.), North Ridgeville.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday June 21, 2019 at 10am at St. Peter Catholic Church, 35777 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville.  Rev. Andrew Hoover will celebrate the Mass.  Burial will be at Ridgeville Cemetery in North Ridgeville.
