Laurence C. “Larry” Fetchet, 76, of Columbia Station, passed away peacefully at his residence on Wednesday February 4, 2026. He was born September 7, 1949 in Ravenna. Larry was a life-long resident of Columbia Station and graduated from Columbia High School in 1967. Larry was a man of many talents and over the years he spent time farming, working the family produce and flower stand, working with the family Christmas tree business, and operating Ann and Andy’s in Columbia Station. He also enjoyed helping his brother with gun and knife shows, and he formerly worked at Schmidt Brewery in Cleveland. Larry was very sociable and he loved being involved in the planning and coordinating of the legendary Labor Day Weekend Buffalo Parties in Columbia Station. Larry also enjoyed spending time with his beloved family and fishing. Larry is survived by: his daughter, Courtney Zenobi (Levi); his son, Frank Fetchet (Katie); three grandchildren, Preston, Frankie, and Harley; two sisters, Patricia Jowett (James), and Julie London Dehrmann (Marc); two brothers, Thomas Fetchet (significant other, Betty), and John Fetchet (Lynda), several nieces and nephews; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Marilyn (nee Brobst) Fetchet. The Fetchet family is planning a burial of Larry’s cremains and a Celebration of Life gathering in Columbia Station this coming spring and the date will be announced.
