Larry S. Galvin, 64, of North Ridgeville, passed away suddenly on Sunday June 8, 2025 at University Hospitals in Cleveland. He was born on August 2, 1960 in Cleveland and was a 1979 graduate of West Tech High School in Cleveland, where he ran track. Larry made North Ridgeville his home for the past 23 years. He was employed as a plant operations manager at CleCorr Packaging in Cleveland for 36 years. Larry was the greatest husband and proudest father in the whole world. His greatest pride was being a devoted, caring, and loving father to Gabriella. Their relationship was a blessing-marked by unwavering love, constant support, and a connection that will live on forever. His laughter was contagious, his love ran deep, and his strength and generosity were the foundation of his family. He especially treasured family trips to Walt Disney World in Florida. Larry was also very patriotic and he supported several different veteran’s organizations. He also found joy in playing pickle ball, watching tennis with his daughter, taking care of his yard, and bike riding. He was a Roman Catholic. Larry is survived by: his wife of 33 wonderful years, Pauline (nee Jaras); his daughter, Gabriella Galvin of North Ridgeville; his brothers, Randy Galvin of Strongsville and Bob Galvin of Cleveland; and many extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by: his parents, Thomas and Eleanor Galvin; his sister, Julie Galvin; and his brothers, Rich, Raymond, and Bill Galvin. The family will receive friends on Sunday June 15, 2025 from 4 to 7pm at the Liston Funeral Home, 36403 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. A prayer service will be begin at 9:15am on Monday June 16, 2025 at the funeral home, followed by a 10am Funeral Mass at St. Peter Catholic Church, 35777 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Father Isidore Munishi will celebrate the Mass. Burial will follow at St. Peter Cemetery in North Ridgeville.
