Leroy Knight Jr.

Leroy Knight Jr., 55, of Elyria, passed away on Sunday October 22, 2023 at his residence following a six month illness.  He was born in Berea on July 24, 1968, was raised in North Ridgeville and had resided in Elyria for many years.  Leroy was employed by Laborer’s Union Local 860 for 30 years and retired in 2021.  He loved golf and he was an avid NASCAR fan.  Most of all, Leroy’s greatest joy was spending time with his family.  He is survived by: his wife of 30 years, Pamela; his son, Cody; his two daughters, Krystal and Kasey; his four grandchildren, Noah, Lorenzo, Aria and Romeo; his parents, Leroy and Marjorie Knight; his two sisters, Sheri (Don) Norman and Cindy Knight; three nephews, Nick Duke and Jim and T. J. Machovina; and a niece, Kadie Machovina.  He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Thurman and Ruby Knight and his maternal grandparents, James and Marjorie Kincaid.  A private family memorial gathering was held.
