Leroy Knight Sr.

Leroy Knight Sr., 77, a life-long resident of North Ridgeville, passed away surrounded by his family at his residence on Saturday, September 6, 2025. He was born July 23, 1948, in Sweetwater, Tennessee. Leroy attended North Ridgeville High School. He owned and operated Knight Builders for 37 years before retiring. Leroy enjoyed gambling, and playing golf. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Margie Knight (nee Kincaid); his daughter, Cindy Knight; five grandchildren, Jim Machovina, TJ Machovina, Kadie Machovina, Nick Duke, and Cody Knight; five great grandchildren; his sister, Barb Gouge; and many nieces and nephews. Leroy was preceded in death by his parents, Thurman and Ruby Knight; his son, Leroy Knight Jr.; his daughter, Sheri Knight-Norman; and his two sisters, Janice Sue Knight, and Debbie Rice. The family welcomes friends to join them on Wednesday, September 10th from 3:30pm to 6:30pm, with the service beginning at 6:30pm, at the Liston Funeral Home, 36403 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Pasto Kevin Crow will officiate the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Harvest Ridge Church.
