Linda M. Campana (nee Gutzeit), 67, of North Ridgeville, passed away Tuesday December 28, 2021 at University Hospital in Cleveland following a short illness. She was born January 6, 1954 in Cleveland and she was a lifetime resident of North Ridgeville. Linda was employed as a school bus driver for North Ridgeville City Schools for over 30 years. She was a member of Community of Faith United Church of Christ in Elyria and of the North Ridgeville Corn Festival Committee. Linda enjoyed spending time with her family (especially her grandchildren!), baking cookies and cakes, boating, horseback riding and knitting. Linda is survived by: her three children, Jennifer Geiser (Sam) of Independence, KY, Andrea Bascue of Elyria and Kenneth Campana (Pam) of Independence, KY; 11 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; her two sisters, Christine Salley of Avon Lake and Kathleen Gutzeit of Elyria; and her four dogs, Daisy, Curly, Ebony and Bucky. She was preceded in death by: her parents, Donald and Ernestine (nee Eckenfels) Gutzeit; her brother, Kenneth Gutzeit; and her son-in-law, Timothy Bascue. The family will receive friends on Tuesday January 4, 2021 from 5 to 8pm at the Liston Funeral Home, 36403 Center Ridge Road, (at Stoney Ridge Rd.), North Ridgeville. The funeral service will be Wednesday January 5, 2021 at 11:00am at the funeral home with Rev. Arik Borstad, pastor of Community of Faith UCC Church in Elyria, officiating. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Community of Faith United Church of Christ in Elyria.
