Linda S. Foster

Linda S. Foster (nee Smith), 72, a longtime resident of North Ridgeville, passed away peacefully at Ames Family Hospice in Westlake, on Monday April 26, 2021. She was born September 1, 1948 in Medina. Linda was a devoted housewife and loving mother. She enjoyed watching the Cleveland Indians, gardening, bingo, bowling and slot machines when she was not running her kids to 4H, marching band, or to the ballfields. Linda Foster is survived by: her four children, Tammy Woods (Ben), Connie Horton (Johnny), Rick Foster (Mary) and Don Foster (Nikki); nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren; her sister, Patricia Patalon; and her 2 brothers, Charles and Terry Smith. She was preceded in death by: her husband of 32 years, Richard O. Foster in 2002, her sister, Dian Throne; and her 2 brothers, Doug and James Smith. The family welcomes friends to join them on Thursday April 29, 2021 from 5 to 7pm at the Liston Funeral Home, 36403 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville. A private family service will be held on Friday with burial at Ridgeville Cemetery. Chaplain Jeff Sweitzer from Hospice of the Western Reserve will officiate. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve.
