She was preceded in death by: Her husband of 59 years and childhood sweetheart, Kenneth Ray Mick in 2012; and by her parents, Burk and Lavada Mae (nee Waggoner) Pierson.  The family will receive friends on Sunday May 31, 2020 from 1:30pm until the time of the funeral service at 2:30pm in the Chapel of First Baptist Church, 11400 LaGrange Road, Elyria.  Mrs. Mick’s grandson, Rev. Daniel Samms, will officiate the service.  Social distancing guidelines will be observed.  Burial will be Monday June 1, 2020 at 10am at Ridge Hill Memorial Park in Amherst Township.  The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to First Baptist Church of Elyria.
