Margo Kathleen Bock (nee Cassidy), 86, a long-time resident of Lorain County, passed away after a prolonged illness, on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at the New Life Hospice Center in Lorain. She was born May 2, 1936, in Meadville, Pennsylvania. Margo worked as a phone operator for The Chronicle Telegram for 14 years before retiring in 2011. She was member for many years of The River Church of God in North Ridgeville, and the TOPS Club. Margo enjoyed painting, reading, traveling, playing hymns on the keyboard, and going on missions trips with her church. Many hearts have been touched by her artwork, and her painting of an eagle is currently on display through the end of April at the French Creek Nature Center in Avon. When she was younger, Margo was a competitive dance roller-skater. She is survived by her four children, Mark Knauff (Susan), Michelle Hynes (Rick), Lisa Bock-Ellison (Jack), and Stefan Bock (Stacey); 10 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and her brother, Arthur Cassidy (Marcia). Margo was preceded in death by her loving husband of 26 years, Norman Bock in 1990; and her parents, Edward and Marea Cassidy. A memorial service and a celebration of Margo's life will be held on Sunday May 7, 2023, at 4pm at River Church of God, 6000 Lear Nagle Road, North Ridgeville.
