Marie Ann (Virone) Vlach

Marie Ann Vlach (nee Virone), 77, of North Ridgeville, passed away Thursday November 26, 2020 at St. John Medical Center in Westlake following a two week battle with Covid-19 and Pneumonia.  She was born September 5, 1943 in McIntyre, PA.  Marie was a 1961 graduate of North Olmsted High School and resided in North Ridgeville for 33 years.  She was the owner of Marie Ann Catering for over 30 years and retired in 2008.  Marie enjoyed going on road trips to casinos, jigsaw puzzles, playing instant lottery and watching her grandson play hockey and baseball.  She is survived by: her husband, Edward Vlach; her daughter, Patricia Drennen; her son, Edward Vlach Jr. (Carmella); her grandchildren, Christina, Colleen, Robert, Lindsey and Anthony; and one great grandchild, Elliott.  She was preceded in death by: her parents, Salvatore and Marie (nee Petchic) Virone; and her sister, Carmella Rose Rosul (Sammy).  A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday May 22, 2021 at 10am at St. Peter Catholic Church, 35777 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville.  Rev. Joe Robinson will celebrate the Mass.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
