Marilyn Leslie Sivik

Marilyn Leslie Sivik (nee Varcoe), 94, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday, October 30, 2022, at O’Neill Health Care in North Ridgeville. She was born November 21, 1927, in Cleveland. Marilyn attended Dyke University in Cleveland, and worked as a secretary for East Shore United Methodist Church, and the Ultramatic Corporation for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, visiting the library, and reading, especially books written by Nora Roberts. Marilyn is survived by her three children, Susan (Richard) Thomas, Jack (Karen) Sivik, and James (Peggy Jo) Sivik; nine grandchildren, Karrie, Sherry, Erin, Sarah, Katie, Christopher, Jessie, Mandy, and Tim; 11 great grandchildren, Kayla, Austin, Aubrey, Stella, Everett, Madison, Cameron, Allison, Dominic, Mila, and Emilia. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jack Sivik; and her Parents, Ernest and Ruth Varcoe. The family welcomes friends to join them on Friday, November 4, 2022, from 1pm to 2pm with the service beginning at 2pm, at the Liston Funeral Home, 36403 Center Ridge Rd., (at Stoney Ridge Rd.), North Ridgeville. A private family burial will be held at a later date. Pastor David Swartz will officiate.
