Martha J. McDonald

Martha J. McDonald (nee Hilder), 92, passed away peacefully at Devon Oaks in Westlake on Wednesday May 5, 2021. She was born in Cadiz, OH on March 4, 1929. Martha was formerly a long time resident of Largo, FL and spend the last 15 years in Berea, OH. She worked as a Book Keeper for a construction company for many years. Martha enjoyed: boating, scuba diving, collecting sea shells, and hosting her family's spring break trips. She had many pets including her cats, dogs, parrots, and cockatoos, which she loved caring for. Martha was a member of Strongsville Bible Fellowship in Strongsville, OH. She is survived by: her 2 sisters, Rose E. Carbiener of Broken Arrow, OK, and Olga Ann Palmer of Olmsted Falls, OH; and by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by: her loving husband, Robert L. McDonald; and her 4 siblings, Ruth Clice, Edith Freymeyer, Benjamin Hilder Jr., and Mary Worcester. The family welcomes friends to join them on Friday May 21, 2021 for a memorial service starting at 6pm, at Strongsville Bible Fellowship, 13237 Prospect Rd, Strongsville, OH, 44149. Burial will be held on Saturday May 22, 2021 at 2:30pm at Zanesville Memorial Park, 1475 Military Road, Zanesville, OH, 43701.
