Mary A. Wilder (nee Karecki) 70, of North Ridgeville, passed away following a brief illness on Sunday January 23, 2022 at St. John Medical Center in Westlake. She was born October 30, 1951 in Cleveland and was raised in Cleveland. She had resided in North Ridgeville for 28 years. She was employed as a cleaning contractor at NASA in Cleveland for 21 years and retired in 2010. Mary found great joy in spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and her great-grandson. Mary A. Wilder is survived by: her husband of 26 years, Gary; three daughters, Becki Clark (David) of Avon Lake, Vicki Ansel of Avon and Renee Hartley of Elyria; two sons, Nathan and Josh Wilder, both of Elyria; 10 grandchildren, Danielle, Dylan, Dominik, Brianna, Matthew, Hannah, Sarah, Dylan, Jacob and Emma; one great-grandson, Mason; and one great granddaughter on the way, Daisy; her sister, Elizabeth Black of North Ridgeville; four brothers, Robert Karecki of North Ridgeville, Jerry Karecki of South Euclid, Eddie Karecki of Manchester, New Jersey and Dennis Karecki of Parma; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by: her parents, Edmund and Irene (nee Solet) Karecki; one sister, Patsy Karecki; and two brothers, Dale and Ricky Karecki. The family will receive friends on Sunday January 30, 2022 from 3 to 5pm at the Liston Funeral Home, 36403 Center Ridge Road, (at Stoney Ridge Road), North Ridgeville. The funeral service will be Monday January 31, 2022 at 11:00am at the funeral home. Pastor David Swartz will officiate. Burial will be at Resthaven Memory Gardens in Avon.
