Mary Jo M. Stevens

Mary Jo M. Stevens (nee Mazzone), 82, a lifelong resident of Columbia station, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Friday, January 31, 2025, at Life Care Center of Medina. She was born November 28, 1942, in Cleveland. Mary Jo worked as a bartender in Columbia Station when she was younger, and later in life she worked for the Parma City School’s after care program and loved working with all the children. She was a social butterfly and enjoyed dancing, and cooking. Mary Jo is survived by her four children, James (Paula), Nick (Kim), Carri (Jeff), and Anthony (Chris); and many grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 49 years, Thomas; three sons, Chuck, Darryl, and Tommy; and her grandchild, Jeffrey. The family welcomes friends to join them on Thursday, February 13, 2025, from 5pm to 7pm, with the memorial service beginning at 7pm, at the Liston Funeral Home, 36403 Center Ridge Rd., (at Stoney Ridge Rd.), North Ridgeville. Pastor Dave Swartz will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Friendship Animal Protective League of Lorain County.
