Melvin J. Fousek

Melvin J. Fousek, 90, a long time resident of Avon, passed away peacefully at Brookdale Westlake Village on July 6, 2021. He was born March 18, 1931, in Parma. Melvin enjoyed: camping, boating, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by: his wife of 44 years, Margaret “Peggy” Fousek; five children; Sharon (Mike), Dave (Cindy), Steve, Sally, and Mark (Cheryl); six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Melvin was preceded in death by his daughter-in-law Darla. The family welcomes friends to join them on Friday July 9, 2021, from 9 to 11am with the service starting at 11am at the Liston Funeral Home, 36403 Center Ridge Rd., (at Stoney Ridge Rd.), North Ridgeville. Peggy’s nephew, Rev. Therman Payton will officiate.
