Michael D. O'Rick

Michael D. O’Rick, 62, a resident of North Ridgeville, passed away too soon surrounded by family on Friday, September 13, 2024, at UH Cleveland Medical Center. He was born November 15, 1961, in Eatontown, New Jersy. Michael was an over the road trucker for 38 years. He loved his job and spending time with his grandchildren while he was home. Michael is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Laura; two children, Timothy (Rachel), and Joseph; four grandchildren, TJ, Almira, Roen, and Oliver; his mother-in-law, Sandra; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Mary; his sister, Cheryl; his brother, John; and his father-in-law, Tom. The family welcomes friends to join them on Thursday, September 19, 2024, from 6pm to 8pm, at the Liston Funeral Home, 36403 Center Ridge Rd., (at Stoney Ridge Rd.), North Ridgeville. The funeral service will be held on Friday, September 20, 2024, at 11am. Michael will be laid to rest at Ridgeville Cemetery following the service. Pastor Dave Swartz will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
