Michael P. "Uncle Mike" Reisner

Michael P. “Uncle Mike” Reisner, 73, of North Ridgeville, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Friday July 12, 2024.  He was born January 27, 1951 in Cleveland.  Mike was raised on the Westside of Cleveland and attended John Marshall High School.  He resided in North Ridgeville for many years.  Mike was a member of UFCW Local 880 in Cleveland and for over 30 years he worked at Giant Eagle in Lakewood, retiring in 2020 as a shift manager.  He truly enjoyed his short retirement.  Michael loved his family and he spent time researching their genealogy.  He also enjoyed dancing, old movies, and celebrating the holidays. He was a member of the Irish American Club in Olmsted Falls.  Michael P. Reisner is survived by: his sister, Judy Workman (Pete); two brothers, Daniel Reisner (Cindy) and Richard Reisner Sr.; 13 nieces and nephews, Ryan, Adam (Maria), Sheri (Brian), Jeremy (Nicole), Chris (Heather), Ben (Wendy), Zack, Danielle (Steven), Richard Jr. (Samantha), Cathy (Chris), Ross, Don (Jennifer), and Shannon; and many great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by: his parents, Robert W. Sr. and June R. (nee Dailey) Reisner; two sisters, Karen and Roxanne Reisner; and a brother, Robert Reisner Jr.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday July 17, 2024 from 4 to 7pm at the Liston Funeral Home, 36403 Center Ridge Road (at Stoney Ridge Rd.), North Ridgeville.  The Funeral Service will be Thursday July 18, 2024 at 11:00am at the funeral home.  Rev. Father Isidore Munishi will officiate.  Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Cleveland.
