Norma Curren

Norma D Curren (nee DeChellis), 91, a long-time resident of North Ridgeville, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Monday December 9, 2019 at St. Mary of the Woods in Avon. Norma was born October 28, 1928 in Cleveland. She worked at NASA as an executive administrative assistant for many years prior to her retirement. Norma was a faithful member of First Congregational United Church of Christ in North Ridgeville. She is survived by: two daughters, Dr. Camilla Curren (Thomasson Smith), and Dr. Constance Curren Strozsak (John Jr.); four grandsons, Andrew Curren Smith, Ashton Curren Smith, John Arthur Strozsak, and David Alexander Strozsak; her sister-in-law, Barbara DeChellis; and by her lifelong friend Joanne M. Folk. Norma was preceded in death by; her beloved husband Arthur Norman Curren; her parents Paul and Ida DeChellis; and by her brother, Paul Frank DeChellis Jr. The family welcomes friends to join them for a Memorial Service on Saturday January 25, 2020 at 1pm at First Congregational United Church of Christ, 36363 Center Ridge Rd, North Ridgeville. Pastor Arik Borstad will officiate.
