Patricia A. Ambacher (nee Martin), 88, a long-time resident of Northeast Ohio, passed into the arms of Jesus and her faith was made sight on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at The Woods on French Creek, in Avon. She was born August 4, 1937, in Washington, Arkansas. Patricia was a dedicated pastor’s wife in her first marriage, and a dedicated missionary’s wife in her second marriage. Patricia was a member of Abram Creek Baptist Church in Brook Park, formerly known as Madison Avenue Baptist Church. She was a member of ABWE, sang in the church choir, taught Sunday school, and led women’s bible studies. Patricia enjoyed needlepoint embroidery, sewing, hosting friends and family, baking, and cooking the best southern fried chicken. She is survived by her three children, James Hunt, Shirley Elizabeth Mitchell, and Rebecca Ciresi (Joseph); 10 grandchildren, James, Jennifer, Jeremy, Elizabeth, Autumn, Alan, Morgan, Ashley, Lauren, and Joseph; 19 great grandchildren and one on the way; three siblings, Luther Martin, Carla Stone, and Steve Martin; and many nieces and nephews. Patricia was preceded in death by her loving husband of 40 years, James F. Hunt; her loving second husband of 15 years, Harry Ambacher; and her parents, Carl and Grace Martin. The family welcomes friends to join them on Saturday, January 10, 2026, from 10am to 11am with the memorial service beginning at 11am, at Providence Church, 35295 Detroit Rd, Avon. Pastor Beight and Pastor Shaw will officiate.
