Patricia A. (Carter) Brooks

Patricia A. Brooks (nee Carter), 71, of Ashland, passed away May 24, 2025 at O’Neill’s Healthcare in Fairview Park.  She was born September 19, 1953 in Cleveland.  Patty was raised in Cleveland and was a graduate of West Tech High School in Cleveland.  She had been a resident of Ashland for 30 years.  She was a steel worker and was employed by the former J & L Steel Company in Cleveland for many years.  Patricia is survived by: her brother, Tim Carter (Linda) of Fairview Park; two nieces, Chloe and Emily; a nephew, Alex; and her great nieces and nephews; Miranda, Duke, Waylon, and Bentley.  She was preceded in death by; her parents, Frank Carter and Janice Donnelly (nee Herbert); her step-father, James Donnelly; her brother, David Carter; and her nephew, Ben Carter.  An open house to celebrate the life of Patricia Brooks will be held on Saturday June 21, 2025, beginning at 2pm at the home of her brother Tim Carter, 3936 West 224th Street, Fairview Park, OH 44126.
