Patricia M. “Pat” Hartley (nee Hamamey), 81, passed away on February 21, 2026 at Main Street Care Center in Avon Lake, following a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s Disease. She was born in Cleveland on April 1, 1944 and formerly resided in Olmsted Falls and North Ridgeville. Pat was a 1982 graduate of the nursing program at Lorain County Community College and worked as an LPN for many years at several places, including the Aristocrat Nursing Home in Berea, the Welsh Home in Rocky River and at the Cleveland Clinic Main Campus. In addition to loving her career, she enjoyed traveling and she cherished the time spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Patricia Hartley is survived by: her daughter, Margaret Pritchard (Leo) of Avon Lake; her son, Martin Bomba (Tammy) of North Ridgeville; three grandchildren, Kelsey, Kyle, and Kayden; and two great grandsons, Tyler and Scott. She was preceded in death by: her parents, Emile Hamamey and Margaret Michno (nee McQuaid); and her siblings, Gayle Walters, Richard Younker, Michael Hamamey, and David Hamamey. The family will receive friends on Thursday February 26, 2026 from 11am until the time of the Funeral Service at 1pm at the Liston Funeral Home, 36403 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Pastor Paul Theodore from 2:3 Ministries in Avon, will officiate. Burial will be at Resthaven Memory Gardens in Avon. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to The Alzheimer’s Association. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Wellspring Hospice and to Main Street Care Center for the wonderful and compassionate care that they gave to Mrs. Hartley.
