Obituary

Patricia D. Sutter (nee Deskins), 72, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 17, 2022, with her family by her side in her home town of Geneva, OH. She was born May 8, 1950, in Richlands, VA and was a resident of Lorain County for many years. Patty formerly worked at Liston Funeral Home in North Ridgeville, the North Ridgeville Public Library, and was the morning radio co-host with Len Howser, for WZLE Christian Radio for many years. She loved her family and enjoyed reading, traveling, crafts, and sewing. Patricia is survived by: her son, Shawn Sutter (Thelma); her grandson, Eion Sutter; her step-grandaughter, Ambar; her sister, Connie Deskins (Mark); two nephews, Steven Deskins-Stolson, and Patrick O’Donnell; three great nephews, Devin, Braddock, and Jake; and two great nieces, Millie, and, Aimie. She was preceded in death by: her husband of 43 years, Robert; her parents, Daris and Madeline Deskins; and her sister, Barbara Deskins. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2022, at Ridge Hill Memorial Park in Amherst, at 11am. Mr. Len Howser will officiate.
