Pearl L. Vitello (nee Wilson), 78, of Brook park, went home to be with The Lord on Saturday October 8, 2022 at East Park Care Center in Brook Park. She was born February 26, 1944 in Clarksburg, West Virginia and was a graduate of Lincoln West High School in Cleveland. She was a homemaker and enjoyed knitting. Pearl was a believer in Jesus Christ and trusted in him as her Savior. She was a member of Abram Creek Baptist Church in Brook Park and she loved listening to gospel music. Pearl L. Vitello is survived by: Her loving and devoted husband of 49 years, Richard E. “Red” Vitello; two nephews, Thomas Wilson Jr. of Brunswick Hills and Craig Wilson Sr. of Streetsboro; her niece, Cheryl Beth Green of Pennsylvania; several great and great-great nieces and nephews; and her beloved church family. She was preceded in death by: her parents, Thomas and Virginia (nee Custer) Wilson; and her brother, Thomas Wilson Sr. The visitation will be on Sunday October 16 from 6pm until the time of the Funeral Service at 6:30pm at Abram Creek Baptist Church, 18664 Sheldon Road, Brook Park. Pastor James Beight will officiate. The burial will be private at Woodvale Cemetery in Middleburg Heights. Memorial contributions are suggested to Abram Creek Baptist Church.
