Peter Seidl, 69, of North Ridgeville, passed away at his residence following a short illness on Saturday October 29, 2022. He was born in Villach, Austria and immigrated with his family to the United States as a child. Peter was a graduate of Max Hayes High School in Cleveland and had resided in North Ridgeville for 42 years. He was a veteran and served in the US Air Force. Peter worked as a machinist and a landscaper, formerly working for Chem Lawn and retired from Ridge Tool in Elyria in 2019. Peter enjoyed hunting, fishing, being outdoors, and spending time with his beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in North Ridgeville. He is survived by: his wife of 49 years, Susan (nee Korosi); two sons, Chris Seidl of North Ridgeville and Brian Seidl (Michelle) of North Ridgeville; four grandchildren, Megan, Breanna, Todd, and Makenzie; two great grandchildren, Shealynn, Rylee, and one on the way; his sister, Annie Gault of Cleveland; and two brothers, Paul and Anthony Seidl, both of Cleveland. He was preceded in death by: his parents, Rudolph and Regina (nee Gerhart) Seidl; and by his daughter, Sandra Lime in 2021. A celebration of Peter’s life will be observed by his family and friends.
