Phillip D. Minor, 83, of Berea, went home to be with The Lord on May 27, 2025 at Allen Mercy Hospital in Oberlin. He was born April 5, 1942 in Kaymore, West Virginia and he was a graduate of Max Hayes High School in Cleveland. Phil had previously been a long-time resident of Brook Park. He was retired from Parker Hannifin in Elyria where he worked for many years doing research and development of hydraulic valves. Phil was formerly an active member of Parma Heights Baptist Church. He was a dedicated family man who was a hard worker and believed in having integrity. He also gave the best hugs and he enjoyed golfing with his best friend of 40 years. Phillip Minor is survived by: his beloved wife of 62 years, Eleanor (nee Harrah); two daughters, Pam Graves (Jeff) of Kissimmee, FL and Cindy Hilditch (Scott) of Wellington; two grandchildren, Jenna Hilditch and Zach Graves (Kera); and four great-grandchildren, Maverick, Falcon, Stryker, and Phoenix. He was preceded in death by: his parents, Theodore and Beaulah (nee Dempsey) Minor; two sisters, Louise and Wilma; and four brothers, Leonard, Walter, Elbert, and Don. Services will be private.
