Regis E. Myers

Regis E. “Reg” Myers, 88, a longtime resident of Lorain, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, at O’Neill Healthcare in North Ridgeville. He was born December 9, 1936, in Shoaf, Pennsylvania. The son of Lloyd and Garnet (Dwyer) Myers. Reg was a veteran of the United States Army. He worked at General Motors in Elyria for 30 years before retiring. Reg enjoyed hunting, fishing, casinos, and watching sports. He was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Reg was very involved in his son's lives and activities. He was a fan of fast-pitch softball and of the Lorain Southview Wrestling Team. Reg was a member of the UAW local 780 in Elyria. He is survived by his two sons, Keith A. Myers (Amylee), and Douglas E. Myers and other family members. Reg was preceded in death by his loving wife of 56 years, Connie (Cole) Myers; and his brother, Lloyd. Reg will be laid to rest with his wife at Brookdale Cemetery in Elyria. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to O’Neill Healthcare in his name.
