Richard G. Gaines

Richard G. Gaines, 57, of North Ridgeville, passed away peacefully following a brief illness on Saturday January 6, 2024 at Fairview Cleveland Clinic Hospital in Cleveland.  He was born November 21, 1966 in Charleston, West Virginia, and was a life-long resident of Lorain County.  Richard received his GED from Elyria High School.  He enjoyed spending time with his son, fishing and smoking.  Richard Gaines is survived by: his son, Jeremy Gaines; his mother, Lynda Gaines (nee Farley); and his five siblings, Ted Gaines, Michael Gaines, Steven Gaines (Tiffany), Kerri Rundel (Derek) and Kelli McGill.  He was preceded in death by: his father, Richard L. Gaines; and by his son, Justin Gaines.
