Richard W. McClelland

Richard W. McClelland, 82, a long time resident of Olmsted Township, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday November 4, 2021 at Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital in Cleveland. He was born November 14, 1938 in Lilly, Pennsylvania. Richard was an avid bowler.  He also enjoyed spending time with his family and watching tv, especially The Big Bang Theory, and old westerns. He was a long time member of St. Thomas More Parish in Brooklyn, Ohio. Richard is survived by: five children,  Annette (Dave), Richard Jr. (Terri), Denise (Mark), Michael (Barb), and Tina (Dave); 12 grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. His daughter, Darlene passed away on Friday November 5, 2021. He was preceded in death by: his loving wife of 59 years, Betty; two grandchildren; and his brother, Arthur. The family welcomes friends to join them on Wednesday November 10. 2021 from 5-8pm at Sunset Chapel, 6265 Columbia Rd, North Olmsted, OH 44070. The Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday November 11, 2021 at 10am at St. Thomas More Parish, 4170 N Amber Dr, Brooklyn, OH 44144. (Please meet at Church). Father Bill Bouhall will officiate. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park in North Olmsted.
