Rita "Nana" Ellis

Rita “Nana” Ellis (nee Crasti), 87, a resident of Olmsted Township, Ohio, formerly of Jamestown, New York, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at Southwest General Hospital in Middleburg Heights. She was born September 13, 1935, in Jamestown. Rita worked various jobs, but often reminisced about her time working at Murphy's. She was a life-long member of St. James Parish in Jamestown. Rita enjoyed cross word puzzles, and watching Jeopardy and the Wheel of Fortune. She most especially enjoyed spoiling her five grandchildren. She is survived by her son, Ken (Denise nee Karoly); five grandchildren, Rebekah, Stephen, Mikayla, Caleb, and Elizabeth; her sister, Linda Graham (Cliff); and her extended family, Jeff Young and his daughter, Julia. Rita was preceded in death by her parents, and her eight siblings. Services will be private.
