Obituary
Robert D. Buckland, 64, passed away June 6,2023 at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus, after a short illness. He was born October 2, 1958, in Norfolk, Virginia and was a resident of Elyria for many years. Robert graduated from Elyria High School. His most cherished moments were spending time with family and friends. He was a talented guitar player and a skilled machinist. Robert loved the Browns, going fishing, riding his Harley, and "porch time". Robert is survived by his sisters and brothers: Randall (Patricia), Deborah, Allen, Edwina, Todd (Marianne), all of Elyria, OH. Julie (Edmund) of Thonotosassa, FL. Ray (Karen) of Brook Park, OH., many loving Aunts and Uncles, nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded by: His father Randolph L. Buckland, and his mother Shirley A. Buckland. He was truly a blessing to family and friends and will forever be missed. Rock on Bob! The family welcomes friends to join them Friday, June 16, 2023, from 4 to 6pm with the service beginning at 6pm at the Liston Funeral home, 36403 Center Ridge Rd., (at Stoney Ridge Rd.), North Ridgeville. Pastor Tim Adkins of Sugar Ridge Baptist Church, North Ridgeville will officiate. Burial will be held at Brookdale Cemetery, in Elyria, at a later date.
